PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
3d Lacrosse is offering skill development and positional training clinics for players in our Garden State region. These clinics will be designed to develop players skill and will focus on both building fundamentals and introduce high level, position specific skills and concepts to players at their level. Each week we will build and progress on what was taught in the previous session as we perfect the foundation and layer on new skills.
TRAINING:
3d's positional curriculums are similar to team curriculums in that we break each positions down and work on the pieces instead of the whole and teach the intricacies of each position. This is how the game is being taught at the highest level and your opportunity to get it a young age.

Equipment: All players must have full equipment. For boys this includes a helmet, mouthpiece, reversible pinnie, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, a cup, a stick. For girls this includes a stick, mouthpiece, and goggles. All players should have plenty of water, and sneakers (NO CLEATS). If anyone needs any equipment, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
Arrival: When arriving to the Armory you will pull into the driveway and continue to the back of the building. When you go through the gates go to the left and continue into the parking lot. Players will enter through a door in the back of the building. We ask that parents be extra careful in the parking lot because there will be sessions before and after each of our lacrosse sessions where people will be in and out of the lot.
*We ask that players do not get dropped off any earlier than 15 minutes prior to their session.
Check In: Upon entering the Armory turn left and walk behind the net to get to the check in table. Here players can check in, drop gear, and get changed. We ask that parents do not leave small children unattended because there will be live game play going on inside the netted field.
No Spectators: We ask that parents do not stay during the playing time to minimize the amount of people in the Armory. Parents can stay in their car during the hour if they would like.
Play: All players will be taught the proper fundamentals of lacrosse week in and week out. We believe in high repetitions of basic lacrosse concepts, and this is what we will drill. We will also concentrate on some position-specific skills for our older and more experienced players as well as small game play. We will rarely play mini games.
Pick Up: Please be careful when picking up players. The best thing is to wait in the entrance area or in the lot to get players as they are dismissed.
Weather: We do not have the ability to open or close the Armory due to weather related issues. This decision is made by the company that we lease the Armory from and in the past they try to stay open no matter what. We will communicate all weather related issues as soon as possible.
