Maria Moye is a dynamic girls’ lacrosse director and coach with a proven track record of building high-impact programs and developing student-athletes on and off the field. As Director and Coach for 3d Garden State from 2019–2024, she launched and rapidly expanded the girls’ program in just a few short years. Known for her athlete-centered approach and commitment to player development, Maria led girls’ program operations to successfully position the club within a highly competitive market. Following a brief hiatus, she returned to the program in 2025 to build on its strong foundation and continue its growth. 

Maria also brings over 18 years of leadership experience from her career at Battelle, where she served as a Program Manager supporting national security initiatives. Partnering with federal agencies including the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security, she directed complex programs, managed national events, and led cross-functional teams — experience that strengthens her organizational leadership, communication, and commitment to excellence within the club environment. 

As a parent of three multi-sport student-athletes, Maria brings an authentic parent perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes for athletes to succeed both on the field and in the classroom. A former Division I lacrosse player at Loyola University Maryland, she is passionate about developing confident, competitive players, helping each athlete reach their full potential, and building a positive, player-first culture where teams thrive.

Coach Sofield grew up in the lacrosse hotbed of LI playing his high school years at Long Beach where he was a standout and varsity contributor for four years. Following high school, Coach Sofield continued his lacrosse career at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

Throughout the years, Coach Sofield has coached at a high level on both coasts for West Coast powerhouse Seattle Starz as well as Classics Lacrosse, a club he actively advised and aided during its founding years. Since returning east, he has coached several club teams at both the youth and varsity level.

Currently, Coach Sofield is the assistant varsity coach at Christian Brothers Academy and actively trains youth, middle school, and varsity level athletes in the Monmouth County area. He has coached and trained countless players that have gone on to compete at the collegiate level (NCAA DI, DII, & DIII as well as MCLA).

Kim Storer serves as the Lacrosse Operations Coordinator for 3D Garden State Lacrosse, bringing over six years of experience in lacrosse operations to the program. In her role, Kim oversees the organizational and logistical side of the club, helping ensure a smooth, professional experience for players, families, and staff throughout the season.

With a strong understanding of the youth lacrosse landscape, Kim plays a key role in coordinating events, tournaments, communication, and day-to-day operations that allow coaches and athletes to focus on development and competition. Her attention to detail and commitment to organization are instrumental in supporting the club’s mission and standards.

In addition to her professional experience, Kim is a mom of three, giving her a unique and valuable perspective on the family experience within youth sports. She is passionate about creating a positive, well-structured environment where players can grow and families feel informed and supported.
