Playing Experience: College of the Holy Cross (NCAA D1), Long Beach High School (Long Island, NY)

Coaching Experience: 14 years, Coach Sofield grew up in the lacrosse hotbed of LI playing his high school years at Long Beach where he was a standout and varsity contributor for four years. Following high school, Coach Sofield continued his lacrosse career at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

Throughout the years, Coach Sofield has coached at a high level on both coasts for West Coast powerhouse Seattle Starz as well as Classics Lacrosse, a club he actively advised and aided during its founding years. Since returning east, he has coached several club teams at both the youth and varsity level.

Currently, Coach Sofield is the assistant varsity coach at Christian Brothers Academy and actively trains youth, middle school, and varsity level athletes in the Monmouth County area. He has coached and trained countless players that have gone on to compete at the collegiate level (NCAA DI, DII, & DIII as well as MCLA).
